The university is founded by the IUL Consortium, consisting of two public institutions:

  • The National Institute for Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research (INDIRE);
  • The University of Foggia.

IUL online university is subject to the accreditation and control system of ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System). This means that IUL’s educational provision must be in line with a specific regulatory framework, in order to guarantee ever-increasing quality standards, through constant monitoring, assessment, self-assessment and audit processes.
