2 – Soft Skills

Soft skills, together with more strictly professional skills, play a pivotal role in entering the labour market. These are cross-cutting competencies which support the relational integration of the worker thanks to proactivity, ability to work in team and problem-solving capacity.

The proposed activities present an overview of these competencies, providing tools to identify and improve them.

Soft skills are at the basis of creativity and equilibrium. Furthermore, they are important competencies at work, and necessary skills for problem solving.

Relational competencies enhance the ability to work in group and to cooperate in view of common goals. Another essential capacity is the ability to make decisions and negotiate, which can be improved thanks to empathic listening and clear-thinking.
