The project is aimed at studying the linguistic space of the Italian language in the world, focusing on the relationship between economic and social networks of Italian origin, on the positioning of Italian in the language market, on the identification of the symbolic and cultural values of Italianity conveyed from the Italian language in economic-productive realities abroad, and on the presence of cultural and commercial products connected to Italy, and in the linguistic landscapes of the global world. Among the project objectives there is the will to promote awareness of the relationship between the diffusion of the Italian language and the global diffusion of Italian products, and the study of linguistic maintenance and symbolic values in migratory circuits. The research focuses on the role of Italian in the global language market and its relevance for strengthening commercial relations and the value of Italian products.
