InternationalAbstract
Family Caregivers play a fundamental role in the care of people with serious illnesses. Caregiving situations can be complex, and research shows that the strain of caring for frail, disabled or chronically mentally disabled relatives puts caregivers themselves at risk, causing them emotional, physical and mental health problems.
The general objective of the project is to empower and support family caregivers by offering them immediate and easy-to-understand access to medical information and the psychological support they need, through the production and testing of dedicated booklets, online resources and smartphone applications.
