Specialisation/refresher course for sports managers
IUL online university organises in collaboration with the National Basketball League (Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro – LNP) the Specialisation/refresher course for sports managers. The course is addressed to managers and professional figures operating in sports clubs taking part in the national championships organised by LNP, A2 and B leagues, but also to anyone wishing to take up a professional career in the basket world.
The course is born out of the collaboration between IUL and LNP and delves into the management dynamics of a LNP sports club. From a broader perspective, it aims to enhance the competences of professionals in the sector also by involving teachers and highly qualified experts who are going to bring direct testimony of their work.

LNP is the association that since 2013 manages the A2 and B leagues, the Italian LNP Cup and the LNP Super cup. Until the 2014/15 season the National League also managed the C league, before this category became the responsibility of the regional committees. The new League was founded in the summer of 2013 and deals with the organisation of the A2 league, a championship involving 32 teams divided into 2 groups, and the B league, distributed in 4 different groups of 16 teams each.
The main aim of the course is to provide participants with an updated overview on the managerial aspects of LNP sports clubs. The educational contents have been identified accounting for the main work activities carried out by the professional figures of the club’s organisation chart.
The course has a duration of six months and a total cost of € 650,00 including enrolment fee and certification of course completion.
