The online university IUL is subject to the accreditation and control system of ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System). IUL’s educational provision must therefore comply with a specific legal framework. Moreover, online university training is a complex world posing difficult challenges also for universities that are more competitive and engaged at international level. Despite very successful MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) being participated by the most esteemed universities of the world, these same universities struggle to integrate them in the circuit of the accredited system. This sector is complex and in the midst of its stormy development and this is precisely where IUL operates.
