Corporate social responsibility reporting at school: the specialisation and refresher course gets underway

The specialisation and refresher course in Corporate social responsibility reporting at school is promoted by the online university, IUL. The course is directed by Massimo Faggioli and coordinated by Prof. Angelo Paletta.

The online course is addressed to headmasters, teachers of schools of all types and levels and to other professional figures wishing to acquire competences and qualifications to carryout consultancy and support activities in Corporate social responsibility reporting. It is also addressed to museums operators interested in the world of education and wishing to enhance their professional capacity by exploring new ways of implementing projects in partnership and with the collaboration of schools.

The course aims to provide a reference framework and operational tools to headmasters and teachers who will be involved in the drawing out of the school’s Corporate social responsibility report, in the school year 2018/19, as provided for by the National evaluation system.

The deadline for enrolment is 8 January 2019 and the beginning of the didactic activities is foreseen by the end of January 2019.

The course is entirely delivered online and has the duration of 1 academic year for a total of 500 hours granting 20 ECTS credits.

Contents are organised into 4 modules:

  1. Corporate social responsibility reporting as a means for governance
  2. Drawing out the Corporate social responsibility report: reference formats and examples
  3. Corporate social responsibility reporting in the school organisation
  4. Corporate social responsibility reporting in a learning organisation

The teaching activities include individual study on contents provided by the teachers and interactive learning activities moderated by disciplinary tutors in synchronous and asynchronous mode.

At the end of the course, it is foreseen a project work based on the subjects of the course and chosen with the teacher and the tutor.
